The Bible – Old Testament
1 A song of ascents. 2 Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD Who stand in the house of the LORD through the long hours of night.
Lift up your hands toward the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
May the LORD who made heaven and earth bless you from Zion.
1 [Psalm 134] A brief liturgy exhorting the temple singers to acknowledge the great deeds of God at a night service (cf ⇒ Isaiah 30:29). Mount Zion is the place from which blessings affect the lives of humans, for there Israel’s God dwells.
